To find us by car:
Important: When towing please use the recommended route which is on two lane roads providing easy access. Do not take the minor roads from Lostwithiel through Lerryn which are very narrow. Boats and trailers should not approach via the Car Ferry from Fowey.
We recommend you do not use your Sat Nav after the A390 as there are many narrow roads, use these directions please.
From the east:
From the east on the A38 (Dobwalls bypass) turn left at roundabout onto A390 towards St Austell.
On leaving East Taphouse turn left onto B3359 signposted Polperro, Looe.
In 4 miles turn right at signpost Bodinnick, Fowey via Ferry.
Penmarlam Boat Park is clearly signed on the right 1 mile past the village of Lanteglos Highway at the entrance to Bodinnick.
From the west:
From the A390 from St Austell, after Middle Taphouse turn right onto B3359 signposted Polperro, Looe.
In 4 miles turn right at signpost Bodinnick, Fowey via Ferry.
Penmarlam Boat Park is clearly signed on the right 1 mile past the village of Lanteglos Highway at the entrance to Bodinnick.
To find us by Boat:
Proceed through the lower harbour and keep heading north past the Bodinnick Car Ferry, continue up river to find Mixtow Pill on your starboard side opposite the commercial jetties. Moor up on the visitors pontoon which is shore-linked and you will find our workshop up the hill, just 100m walk from the pontoon.
Access is not limited by tide with approximately 2 metres of water depth at low tide alongside the main pontoon.
