Penmarlam Boat Park offers a five metre wide concrete slipway which extends down to low water springs. 

Adjacent to the slipway is a shore-linked pontoon with overnight berthing and fresh water.

Self-Launching: Customers who have one of our self-launch packages may use the slipway at any time for this purpose during the summer period. Although slipway use may be restricted during our own launching operations or during events, and notices or verbal instruction will be given at these times.

Launch assistance: Many customers prefer our team to launch and recover their boats for them. We can offer 4 x 4 assistance for trailered boats or use of our boat hoists for larger boats. 

Please note that we do require advance notice of your launching and recovery requirements.

Our large boat hoist has a capacity of 8 tonnes with a maximum beam of 3.8m.

Craneage prices will include handling and chocking where necessary and a pressure wash can be also be carried out at an additional cost.

Many sports boats in the yard are now launched using our hydraulic boat lift, these ingenious machines have improved the use of the site over the last few years. We can now manoeuvre boats more effectively on site, maximising the space available for storage. It also removes the need for trailers for some of the smaller boats which eases congestion on the site especially during the summer months when although boats are on the water, their trailers are still taking up useable space ashore.

Casual Access

Casual access is available for launching but must be pre-arranged by contacting the Harbour Office. Tariffs include access, launching, car/trailer parking and harbour dues.
